LC Coach Mark Tippett: "We knew going into this event that we had our work cut out for us. All three of the teams we faced were teams we lost to earlier in the season. The most encouraging match was the one against Lincoln Land because we played them much tougher than we did the first time we saw them in early September. Parkland made very errors and really looked like the number one team in the nation. They did not drop a set the entire day.

"The most disappointing match for us was the one against Lewis & Clark. We played poorly on defense early in set one and gave them way too much help through unforced errors. It was just a sloppy effort and I know we are better than that. This was the first rough day we have had in a long time. Hopefully, we can regroup this week and put it behind us quickly."
