 The theme for this year is "Our Food Future - Building the Soil,
Building the System." The tour will include a visit to the
University of Illinois Research Plot on the farm.
The program for the day will include the topics: Diversity and Value
adding on the farm; Scaling up to meet demand, and funding
infrastructure.
The hours for the annual field day will be 9 a.m. to Noon, with an
optional lunch. To enjoy the lunch RSVP should be made to The Land
Connection at 217-840-2128.
The entire event will take place at the field tour location,
one-half mile west of the farmstead. The farm is located at 2047
2100 Street, rural Atlanta. From Atlanta, turn at the Central
Illinois Ag Farm Equipment dealership, go past the cemetery and
through the intersection. Follow signs.
