[September 06, 2016]   ATLANTA - Atlanta Quilt Corner, Atlanta Needlework Guild, and The Crafty MisFits, created and delivered 50 sets of comfort gifts to the Children’s Cancer Center at Saint Francis Hospital, Peoria, Illinois.

Each child received a quilt, a knit or crochet hat, and a huggable friend in a t-shirt tote. All the gifts are washable so they can be sanitized, which insures a germ free environment for the children.

The gifts were created from donated items that are repurposed to create the quilts, dolls and totes. We are happily accepting donations of clean jeans, fleece, fabric, yarn, sheets, blankets, bed skirts, and/or mattress pads.
