[September 09, 2016]    In a game where there were as many Yellow Cards as there were goals for Lincoln; the Railers still come away with a victory. Sometimes the calls just don't go your way and you have to find a way to stay composed and get the job done.

That's what the Lincoln High School Railer boys soccer team did Thursday evening against Warrensburg-Latham. The Railers played tough and focused, which helped them improve their record to 4-5, with a 3-2 victory.

Lincoln had 14 shots with 8 of them being on target, out of those 8 shots, 3 of them found the back of the net. All 3 goals for Lincoln were provided by Junior Midfielder Aleck Bailey, giving him the hat trick.

Bailey was assisted in one of his goals by Sophomore Forward Brandon D'Andrea. Lincoln Keeper Sam Houpt had 6 attempts, in which he stopped 4 and allowed 2, which was enough for the Railers to walk away with another one for the win column.

The Railers will travel to Taylorville on Monday for their next match.
