Weekend bake sale to benefit Veterans Celebration

[September 15, 2016]   LINCOLN - A bake sale fund raiser will be held (inside) at the V.F. W. - 915 5th Street - Lincoln, on September 17 and 18. The VFW is located across the street from the Postville Court House. Be sure to stop by for delicious baked goods from some of the best cooks in Logan County.

The bake sale will open at 8 a.m. each day.

Proceeds from the bake sale will go to support the Logan County Veterans Celebration held on November 13, 2016.

If you are a veteran from Logan County and did not receive an invitation to this event in 2015, please contact a volunteer working at the bake sale to be placed on the mailing list.

This event will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year. It was started by the Youth Group at St. John United Church of Christ. It has grown each year. It is now sponsored by St. John United Church of Christ with assistance from Lincoln First Baptist Church and friends from the community.
