"3rd Fridays" event in Lincoln cancelled for tonight

[September 16, 2016]  LINCOLN - Due to the threat of inclement weather, the 3rd Friday Committee would like to inform everyone that tonight’s activities are canceled. With potentially severe weather entering the area, the committee did not want to risk the safety of our participants, vendors, and visitors.

Unfortunately, this is the last of this year’s series of events, and there is not a rain date scheduled. We have greatly enjoyed the outpouring of support and appreciate the many volunteers who helped make this year’s events a rousing success. We can only hope to raise the bar next year.

As we look forward to next year, we would love to hear your comments regarding the event. This year was new for everyone, and we hope that 3rd Fridays Downtown becomes a tradition that only improves with time.
