Mount Pulaski defeats Illini Bluffs on the road in volleyball

Mount Pulaski traveled a long way Thursday night to make a short night of it as the Hilltoppers handed a loss to Illini Bluffs in two sets, 29-27 and 25-9.

Abigail Fitzpatrick led the Hilltoppers with 6 kills and 6 digs, while the rest of the team contributed pretty evenly in the win.

The victory evens the season record at 7 wins and 7 losses. The Hilltoppers travel to Belleville for a weekend tournament.
