[April 07, 2017]  On March 28, 2017, Associate Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement sentencing Terry Broadway to 2½ years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with a period of 1 year of mandatory supervised release (formerly known as parole) for the offense of Deceptive Practices, a class 4 felony.

The case involved two checks written on the same date by Mr. Broadway to the same local business. The two checks totaled $605.80 and both checks were returned for nonpayment. Terry Broadway has three prior felony convictions which were a factor in the prison sentence.
