LINCOLN
- Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital provides a free education
group for people with diabetes mellitus. The group meets the third
Friday of the month from 11am-12pm at the Oasis Senior Center
located at 2810 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln. This month the group will
meet on April 21 and discuss the topic, “Diabetes Research Update.”
The casual group meetings are free and do not require registration.
Jennifer DiPasquale, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes
educator, leads the group.
“These diabetes support group meetings are a great opportunity to
get practical and timely information about how to manage your
diabetes,” DiPasquale said. Family members, friends, and caregivers
are also welcome to attend the meetings.
