LCHS Prom scheduled for May 6th
28th Annual Red Carpet and Prom Grand March to take place at the Logan County Courthouse

[April 20, 2017]  LINCOLN - Lincoln Community High School, along with WLCN 96.3FM is pleased to announce the annual Red Carpet Runway and Royal Grand March to be held Saturday, May 6th, at the Logan County Courthouse, weather permitting.

For the 28th Annual LCHS 2017 Prom Red Carpet Runway and Royal Grand March the theme is “The Greatest Show On Earth” featuring crimson red and vintage white as the color hues.

Once again, Master of Ceremonies Joe Ryan, along with Lisa - The FIX 96 Prize Girl will begin interviewing prom attendee’s at 3:30pm on the Red Carpet on the East entrance of the Logan County Courthouse which is located on McLean Street with The Royal Grand March beginning at 5pm on the North Entrance of the Courthouse on Broadway Street. Both events will be embellished with beautiful trees, plants and flowers compliments of Lincoln Ace Hardware.

The LCHS Senior Ladies who will be vying for the title of Prom Queen will receive a beautiful grown provided by MKS Jewelers in Lincoln.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the weekend as many downtown businesses will be offering Red Carpet special sales and discounts.

In case of inclement weather, both events will be held on the LCHS campus at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium with the same times applicable. WLCN 96.3FM will keep listener’s updated, beginning at 1pm on Saturday, May 6th in the event of a venue change.

The Red Carpet Runway and The Royal Grand March will be video recorded and available for viewing and downloading, after May 11th, at NO COST, by logging on to wlcnonline.com courtesy of WLCN 96.3FM and will be available for viewing on LCTV on Comcast Channel 5 in Lincoln and Mount Pulaski.
