Carlton McClain sentenced to 8 years in prison

[July 31, 2017]  On July 25, 2017, Associate Judge William Workman accepted and fully negotiated plea agreement and sentenced Carlton McClain on three cases for a total of 8 years to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

In Logan County case number 17 CF 26, Carlton McClain pleaded guilty to one count of Identity Theft, a class 4 felony, and was sentenced to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

In Logan County case number 17 CF 46, McClain pleaded guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a class 2 felony, and was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

In Logan County case number 17 CF 53, McClain pleaded guilty to one count of Forgery, a class 3 felony, and was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

The sentences in 17 CF 53 and 17 CF 46 run concurrent to each other.
