[August 04, 2017]    (The Sports Xchange) - Detroit Tigers right-hander Michael Fulmer, the American League Rookie of the Year in 2016, was placed on the 10-day disabled list with right elbow ulnar neuritis, or inflammation, on Thursday.

There is no set timeline for Fulmer's return, but there is no ligament damage, according to manager Brad Ausmus.

Colorado Rockies closer Greg Holland returned from a cut on his right index finger, an injury that manager Bud Black said occurred Tuesday in a kitchen accident.

Holland picked up the win over the New York Mets on Thursday when he pitched one inning of scoreless relief.

The Oakland Athletics activated right-hander Kendall Graveman from the 10-day disabled list in order to make Thursday's scheduled start against the San Francisco Giants.

Graveman, who was Oakland's Opening Day starter, has missed the past two-plus months due to a shoulder injury. The 26-year-old is 2-2 with a 3.83 ERA in eight starts.
