FRANKFORT - Archie L. Brown, 67, of West Frankfort, and formerly of
central Illinois, passed away at 1:22 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at
his residence. He was born August 22, 1949 in Christopher and raised
by Burrell and Wanda (Holman) Rich.

Archie L. Brown, 67, of West Frankfort, and formerly
of central Illinois, passed away at 1:22 p.m.
Monday, August 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born
August 22, 1949 in Christopher and raised by Burrell
and Wanda (Holman) Rich.
Survivors include four daughters, Lorinda (Alan)
Griffith of Atlanta, Autum (Ed) Robinson of Lincoln,
Amber Geggie of Lincoln, and Larisa (Chuck) Demling
of Hawaii; 10 grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; brother, Steve (Linda) Rich of
Vincennes, IN. and a sister, Nola (Dennis) Denham of
West Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a
brother, John Rich.
He was a member of the Greenview Christian Church.
He was a Past Master of Atlanta Masonic Lodge #165
and member of Constatine Commandry #51. He served in
the U.S. Army from 1969 - 1971. Over the years he
worked at PPG, managed the Ayerco Service Station,
drove a propane truck for Thermogas and had worked
for a fertilizer plant as a truck driver. He also
farmed with some of the local farmers.
He was an avid St Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed
reading and watching westerns.
It was his wish to be cremated there will be no
visitation or services.
Parker - Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in
charge of arrangements.
