Anyone can ride now, tethered balloon rides include handicap accessible basket

[August 19, 2017]  Chamber President Cathy Wilhite said that tethered hot air balloon rides are currently on the schedule for both Friday and Saturday, August 25th and 26th evenings. Just as for the hot air balloon launches and glows, this activity too is dependent upon the weather.

This year, in addition to the standard basket, a special handicap accessible basket will be offered for those who are unable to climb into the regular basket. Adams added that the basket coming also has safety anchors for wheelchairs, so anyone who wishes to take a tethered ride should be able.
