Wednesday:  Mount Pulaski loses to A-C Central 11-1

[August 25, 2017]    The Bruins lost on the road Wednesday versus A-C Central by a score of 11-1. A-C Central put seven runs across the plate in the bottom of the first inning off Mount Pulaski starter Gavin Smith.

 

The Bruins found themselves trailing 11-0 to start the fifth inning. The lone run scored by Mount Pulaski came in the top of the fifth inning.

Mount Pulaski stranded six base runners in the game and struggling offensively with only four hits. Landon Smith, Jackson Fricke, Lane Murphy and Jordan Benner all had singles for Mount Pulaski.

Gavin Smith took the loss for the Bruins. Luke Farris pitched an inning in relief of Smith.
