- Georgina A. Collins, 46, formerly of Havana, passed
away at 5:35 a.m. on November 26, 2017 at St. John’s Hospital in
Springfield.

Obituary
Georgina A. Collins, 46, formerly of
Havana, passed away at 5:35 a.m. on November 26,
2017 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Georgina was born on February 6, 1971, in Havana,
daughter of Melvin Allen and Ruth Charlene (Mason)
Rilea. She married Jerry Skelton Sr. on July 7, 2017
in Lincoln. He survives her.
Also surviving are her children: Misty (Ronald)
Mendenhall of Springfield, Charlene (Aaron) Morris
of Springfield, and Moriah (Tiffani) Snider of
Lincoln, two step sons: Jerry Skelton Jr. and Kyle
Merreighn of Lincoln, one grandchild: Zaydin Pellhum;
two sisters: Daleta Wilkey and Brenda Simers both of
Havana, several step brothers and sisters and
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by her parents. |
Georgina was of the Christian faith.
A Remembrance was held on Monday December 4, 2017 at
LifePointe Church of God with Jacob Skelton
officiating. A celebration of life will be held on
the evening of February 6, 2018.
Memorials may be made in Georgina’s name to the
Humane Society of Logan County.
