[December 13, 2017]  MOUNT PULASKI  - Donna Westen, 81, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 3:44 p.m. Sunday November 26, 2017 at Manor Court in Clinton.

Visitation:   9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday December 2, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Latham

Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at the church

Obituary

Donna Westen, 81, of Mount Pulaski, passed away at 3:44 p.m. Sunday November 26, 2017 at Manor Court in Clinton.

Donna was born on February 7, 1936 in Logan County, to Woodrow and Ruby (Montgomery) Allison. She married Robert Westen on December 17, 1954 in Latham. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2017.

Donna is survived by her children Kim (Doug) Chandler of Decatur, Kristy Westen of Mount Pulaski, Casey (Stephanie) Westen of Latham, “adoptive son” Bruce (Sue) Lamb of Latham, her grandchildren Libby (Steve) Hayes of Cerro Gordo, Blake Smith of Decatur, CPL Kyle Westen of Fort Stewart, GA and Colton Westen of Latham, and five great grandchildren, Josh, Jacob and Hannah Hayes and Ava and Gianna “Gigi” Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Terry and Randy Westen and one sister.

Donna was a farmer’s wife and enjoyed going to her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events, county fairs and showing cattle.

Services for Donna will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 2, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Latham with Rev. Mark Morgan and Rev. Ziola Marty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Private graveside services will be held at Lake Bank Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made in Donna’s name to the Latham Fire and Rescue.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski.
