SG Avery Bradley missed his fourth consecutive game Friday with a groin injury.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - New York Knicks Beasley, Michael

F Michael Beasley, who scored 32 points against Boston on Thursday, has played for six organizations. That's surprising to Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy. "He was the No. 2 pick in the draft," he said. "It's not like some guy who came out of the nowhere. It's sort of amazing he's had to bounce around the way that he has."

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Detroit Pistons Drummond, Andre

C Andre Drummond has 250 double-doubles since the 2012-13 season, the most among Eastern Conference players.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Orlando Magic Speights, Marreese

F Marreese Speights, who hit six 3-pointers as a reserve against the Pelicans in October, got his first start of the season Friday night.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Portland Trail Blazers Lillard, Damian

PG Damian Lillard will miss at least two games due to a hamstring injury. Lillard was already ruled out of Friday night's game against the Denver Nuggets but will also sit out Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Lillard injured the right hamstring during Wednesday's loss to San Antonio after he took a knee to the area from Spurs center Pau Gasol.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Washington Wizards Wall, John

G John Wall distributed four assists Friday and he handed out an early Christmas present to all his teammates -- a new Rolex watch. "He's a good leader and he just continues to give," Wizards coach Scott Brooks said. "Not only on the court with our guys for easy layups or easy jump shots, but he gave them a nice watch."

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Washington Wizards Porter, Otto

F Otto Porter returned to the Wizards' lineup Friday after missing the last two games with a right thigh bruise.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Dallas Mavericks McRoberts, Josh

F Josh McRoberts (foot injury) watched Friday night's game from the Dallas bench against the Heat, the team he played the past three seasons. Coach Rick Carlyle said it is not unreasonable for McRoberts to return in the "coming weeks."

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Dallas Mavericks Smith Jr., Dennis

G Dennis Smith Jr.'s minutes remain restricted after his second appearance since returning from a left hip strain that sidelined him six games. Smith played 26 minutes against Miami.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Miami Heat Waiters, Dion

G Dion Waiters' first-quarter injury Friday resulted in rotation minutes for rookie G Derrick Walton Jr., who scored seven points in 23 minutes. Waiters limped off the court with an apparent left ankle injury. He did not return.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Dallas Mavericks Nowitzki, Dirk

F Dirk Nowitzki tied a career-high for attempted 3-pointers on Friday with 15. He converted six.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Houston Rockets Harden, James

G James Harden is having his minutes monitored closely with others injured, including G Chris Paul. In the 14 complete games Paul played upon his return from a knee injury, Harden averaged 35.3 minutes, which would represent his lowest total in six seasons with Houston. Harden logged 41 minutes on Friday with Paul out with a left abbuctor strain.

-----------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Milwaukee Bucks Brogdon, Malcolm

PG Malcolm Brogdon finished with 14 points Friday. He has reached double figures in scoring 14 times since moving to the bench 19 games ago when Milwaukee acquired Eric Bledsoe from Phoenix.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Atlanta Hawks Schroder, Dennis

C Dewayne Dedmon missed yet another game Friday with a left tibia stress fracture diagnosed in late November.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Oklahoma City Thunder Westbrook, Russell

PG Russell Westbrook knocked Atlanta's Kent Bazemore in the head in the follow-through of a breakaway dunk. Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer and Westbrook engaged in a brief shouting match afterward, but officials declined to review the play for a flagrant foul. Westbrook was called for an unsportsmanlike technical foul for shoving Malcolm Delaney after a play was over in the second quarter.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Golden State Warriors Curry, Stephen

PG Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) has a "99.999 percent" chance of not playing in Monday's showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers, coach Steve Kerr said Friday.

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Los Angeles Lakers Kuzma, Kyle

F Kyle Kuzma followed his career-best game of 38 points in a win over Houston with 27 points and game-high 14 rebounds in Friday night's loss to the Warriors. -----------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------

NBA Note - Denver Nuggets Chandler, Wilson

G-F Wilson Chandler had a season-high 21 points and 11 rebounds for Denver in its win Friday night over Portland.
