[February 13, 2017]  Feb 11 (The Sports Xchange) - Roger Goodell reportedly was not happy when he saw New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia taking a shot at him by wearing a T-shirt that depicted the NFL commissioner as a clown.

An unnamed ownership source told CBS Sports that the T-shirt upset Goodell, who also wasn't too pleased with Patriots owner Robert Kraft and how the Patriots handled their victory in Super Bowl LI.

Goodell, who suspended quarterback Tom Brady for four games to open the 2016 season over the Deflategate scandal, was booed Sunday night as he presented Kraft with the Lombardi Trophy at NRG Stadium in Houston after the Patriots' stunning 34-28 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has decided to skip a goodwill tour of Israel next week with other NFL players, citing human rights concerns. Denver Broncos running back Justin Forsett tweeted he would not be going, either.

Bennett wrote "I will not be used" by the Israeli government in a statement Friday night on Twitter.

Fellow Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril was among the players scheduled to make the Israel trip. Other players scheduled to go are Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell, San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde, New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker and Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Dan Williams.

Jack Del Rio is getting a new contract after leading the Oakland Raiders to the playoffs this past season.

The team announced Friday night that Del Rio's original four-year contract was being replaced with a new four-year deal. The Raiders did not disclose financial terms of the new agreement.

The 53-year-old Del Rio took the job in January 2015, after the Raiders had gone 3-13. He led the Raiders to a 7-9 record in his first season. This year, he guided Oakland to the playoffs for the first time since the 2003 season. The team went 12-4 during the regular season while contending for the AFC West title. (Editing by Andrew Both)
