Lincoln Woman's Club/DAR joint meeting February 15th

[February 14, 2017]   LINCOLN - On February 15th, the Abraham Lincoln Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution members will be hosted by Lincoln Woman's Club members during a 1 p.m. Wednesday tea at the Woman's Club Building, 230 N. McLean Street, Lincoln.

The program, "The History of the Tropics Restaurant," will be presented by Tammy Goodrich.

Greeters will be Marcia Howen and Rita Wilson. Hostesses include Ellen Dobihal, Carol Grunder, Libby Letterly, Donna Sauer and Deb Schweitzer. Carol Mills will give devotions. Raffle gifts are being donated by Carol Grunder and Shari Reynolds.

The Woman's Club nominating committee will report on the slate of officers and chairmen for the coming year. In other Woman's Club activities non-perishable food items or monetary donations are being collected for the Lincoln/Logan County Food Pantry. Members are to wear red in observance of Heart Month.
