[February 21, 2017]  WAYNESVILLE - Maxine Ogg, 89, of Waynesville passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 3:23 p.m. at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Service: Funeral Services for Mrs. Ogg will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr. Dave Taylor officiating.

Obituary

Maxine A. Ogg, 89, of Waynesville passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 3:23 P.M. AT Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ogg will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr. Dave Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.

Maxine Arletta Ryan was born on January 24, 1928 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Thomas Arlie and Gertrude Angerer Ryan. She was united in marriage to Robert M. Ogg on October 28, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2005.

Surviving are one daughter: Wanda Lowery of Waynesville, four grandchildren: Erin (John) Roesch, Erica (Kenneth) Benoit, Justine (Caleb) Garey, Jade (Zach) Rickord. Five great grandchildren: Bailey (Frankie) Boyd, Bowen Benoit, Tucker Garey, Ryder Garey, Averlee Arletta Rickord, her twin sister: Corrine Maddox of Little Lot, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law : Jerry Lowery, one sister: Florence Maxwell, two brothers: Edward Van Ordstrand, Glenn Roy Van Ordstrand.

Maxine was a great mother, the best grandma and great grandma anyone could ask for. She loved to crochet, do puzzles and take care of her little dog: Boggie. She will be missed by all of her family.

Memorials may made to the Maxine A. Ogg Memorial Fund for her grandchildren's Educational Fund.
