[February 25, 2017]  I have lived in Lincoln over 50 years.

I have served you as Ward 3 Alderman since 2003.

I opposed and voted against the Utility Tax.

I successfully fought against and voted against closing the alley behind our businesses on Broadway Street.

I have always answered your calls and have come to meet with you over your concerns, not just for Ward 3, but all calls.

I requested that committees be returned to the city government so your taxes, your sewers and other concerns are handled by the elected city council, and not the limited information provided by the city administrator.

[to top of second column]

I fought for reform in the way things are handled in terms of transparency and due diligence.

I successfully worked to obtain historical designation for City Hall, the Firehouse and the Allen Chapel on the National Register of Historic Places.

We have our work cut out for us. Please vote for me so we can stop the excess and bring back "our Lincoln."

Jonette 'Jonie' Tibbs
