Crusaders take two in Tuesday night games

[January 03, 2017]    The Crusaders of Carroll Catholic.New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools traveled to Decatur Holy Family/St. Patrick's for seventh and eighth grade basketball on Tuesday evening.

 

The seventh grade team won by a score of 45-22.

The Crusaders were led in scoring by Trent Koehler and Andrew Graue with 21 points a piece. The rest of the scoring saw Everett Maaks score 2 and Drew McCray score 1.

The seventh grade team is now 12-5.

The eighth grade Crusaders won by a score of 52-24.

The Crusaders were led by Dyaln Singleton with 23 points, Trent Koehler with 13 points and Andrew Graue with 11 points. The rest of the scoring went Jared Helton with 3 and Jared Merriman with 2 points. The 8th grade team improves to 15-2 on the season.

The Crusaders will wrap up their regular season on Thursday evening in Mount Pulaski, with the seventh grade contest starting at 6 p.m. and the eighth grade game to follow.
