[January 12, 2017]  LINCOLN - This weekend, the Lincoln Community High School National Honor Society will partner with the Outreach/Public Ministry of St. John’s United Church to raise funds to be used in the battle to stop Heroin deaths in Logan County.

On Sunday, January 15th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. a fundraiser will be held at the Lincoln Culver’s restaurant, located at 2530 Woodlawn. The restaurant will donate 10% of all sales during that time to be given to the Logan County Health Department for funding the new Addict Support and Transportation program.

The program is a portion of the efforts being made by the Healthy Communities Partnership Heroin Task Force. Anyone who wishes to offer financial assistance to this program is welcome and encouraged to do so by supporting the local fundraisers, or donating directly.
