[January 16, 2017]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Department of Public Health, Lincoln Park District and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital are excited to invite the public to the free Wellness Expo on February 18 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Lincoln Park District.

“As we enter 2017, we encourage our community to make health a priority by planning to attend the Wellness Expo,” said Angela Stoltzenburg, Healthy Communities Partnership manager. “The Wellness Expo is a great opportunity to learn about local resources for healthy habits. Simply attending the Expo is a step in the right direction for a healthier life and it’s a great way for families to help celebrate health together.”

A variety of activities will be taking place throughout the event. Back by popular demand this year, sponsored by Healthy Communities Partnership, is an inflatable obstacle course and bouncy house providing free activity and fun for all ages. Free health screenings will include cholesterol, body mass index (BMI), health assessments, pulse oximeter, glucose, bone density, blood pressure and more.
