[January 21, 2017]  LINCOLN - Mary Loeffler, 94 of Lincoln passed away at 3:30 a.m. January 17, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center of Springfield.

Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2017 at  Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 21, 2017 at the funeral home

Obituary

Mary Loeffler, 94 of Lincoln passed away at 3:30 a.m. January 17, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center of Springfield.

Mary was born February 7, 1922 in Middletown, daughter of James W. and Matilda Marie Steinhour Davison. She married William D. Loeffler on October 14, 1950 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death in 1987.

Surviving Mary are her children: Jay (Debbie) Loeffler of Normal, Marcia Horn of St. Charles, and Jim (Diana) Loeffler of Lincoln, one sister: Delores Berger of Lincoln; one brother: John Davison of Middletown, eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Ruby, Raymond, and William.

 

Mary was a member of Lincoln Christian Church, ABWA, lifetime member of the Women of the Moose, Amvets and a lifetime member of the Legion. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She worked at the Logan County Treasurers office for 23 years, as a Post Mistress in Middletown for 2 years, worked at Stetson China Factory, and volunteered for election days for over 40 years.

Services for Mary will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 21, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2016 also at the funeral home. Burial at Zion Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Lincoln Christian Church.
