Seventh grade Crusaders advance to Regional Championship game

[January 23, 2017]    The three seed 7th grade Crusaders of Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools played the two seed Panthers of Chester-East Lincoln on Monday evening with a spot in the regional championship on the line.

The Crusaders came away with the victory by a score of 34-28.

Leading the way for the Crusaders was Trent Koehler with 22 points. Andrew Graue battled foul trouble all night to score 7 points. The scoring was rounded out by Drew McCray with 3 and Everett Maaks with 2.

Chester East was led by Ward with 16 points.

CCS/NHM/ZLS will now face the undefeated Wolverines from West Lincoln-Broadwell Thursday evening at 5 p.m. for the Regional championship.
