Authorities investigating explosion at Air Force center in Oklahoma

[July 11, 2017]    (Reuters) - Authorities on Tuesday were investigating an explosion outside a U.S. Air Force recruitment center in northeast Oklahoma, local media reported.

 

No one was injured in the explosion that occurred at 10:30 p.m. local time on Monday at the Air Force recruiting center in Bixby, Oklahoma, the Tulsa World newspaper reported.

The front doors of the facility were damaged, according to a photo published on the Tulsa World newspaper website.

Federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI were investigating the incident, the newspaper reported.

Local police in Bixby were not available for comment.
