LINCOLN
- St. John United Church of Christ Outreach Ministry will being
joined by The Lincoln Rotary Club in hosting a fundraiser from 5:00
to 8:00 p.m. at Culver’s Restaurant 2530 Woodlawn in Lincoln on
Sunday, July 16, 2017.
Ten percent of the sales during that time slot will be donated by
Culver’s to the Logan County Department of Public Health which
co-ordinates the distribution of the Narcan Kits to the local Law
Enforcement.
Information about the drug and a box for free will cash donations
will also be on site during that time.
The program was begun on February 21, 2016 by St. John UCC.
Recognizing the great need for this reversal drug that has already
saved innumerable lives, the Lincoln Rotary is joining in the drive
to help make sure kits are available to the law enforcement officers
as they are needed.

Presently the funds raised last year of $2569.70 for the kits and
$281.80 for Treatment Assistance. The original supply is now dangerously low
with a great need for funding to purchase additional kits.
This project, now a part of the ALMH Community Health
Collaborative, is open to any organization or individual wanting to participate.
