 Gertrude officially celebrated this milestone over
the weekend with two separate observances.
On Saturday, July 8th, she enjoyed a family dinner at Guzzardo's
with many of her loved ones on hand to honor her. Then, on Sunday,
her church family at St. John's United Church of Christ in Lincoln
hosted a reception in her honor and presented her with a cake,
flowers and a variety of birthday cards from members of her church
family.

Gertrude's family includes Marianne and Mark Herriott
of Champaign, Joan and Dan Decker of Dubuque, Iowa, and Gail and Jim
McShane of Lincoln. She also has seven grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
