Obituary

Mark E. Stewart, 60, passed away at 1:55 a.m. on July 5, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born on April 29, 1957 in Mount Pulaski, son of William John and Mildred Fern (Beck) Stewart. He married Jody Lynn Seitz on June 18, 1977.

Mark is survived by his children: Shannon (Brian) Moos of Mount Pulaski, and Jason Stewart of Mount Pulaski; five grandchildren: Jade, Makayla, Keyleigh, Chasey, and Kendra; his siblings: Kenny Stewart of Illiopolis, Ronald (Mary) Stewart of Mount Pulaski, Richard Stewart of Lake Fork, Delmar (Sue) Stewart of Mount Pulaski, Dennis Stewart of Mount Pulaski, and Janice Cook of Mount Pulaski; sister-in-laws: Phyllis Stewart of Lake Fork, and Charlene Stewart of Mount Pulaski, and his special friend: Jody. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Gary and Jerry Stewart.

 

Mark worked for Borden Chemical/ Formosa in Illiopolis and Eaton Corporation in Lincoln. He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the races.

Graveside services for Mark will be 11:00 a.m. Monday July 10, 2017 at Mount Pulaski Cemetery with Mark Weber officiating.

Memorials may be made to the family of Mark E. Stewart.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
