LINCOLN
- Collectible, historical, household and one -of –a- kind items can
be found at the third annual Logan County Genealogical & Historical
Society Garage Sale.
The June 2 and June 3 sale will be held at the Center, 114 N.
Chicago St., with hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 2
p.m. Saturday. Donations are being accepted through Thursday.
What does this year’s sale have to offer? A Florescent Budweiser
sign, quilt racks, an antique sled, a set of PPG glasses, a
selection of framed art prints, and antique ball bats are among
items on the sale list.

In addition an Illinois China Company (predecessor to Stetson’s)
Lincoln Courier plate and Abe Lincoln ashtrays will be available along with a
Lincoln Centennial History, Siltennial Histories, a Prairie Farmer Centennial
Edition, a 1917 Prairie Farmer Directory, and original Lincoln, IL postcards.
Other items include Illinois Traction Society calendars, farm tractor and power
magazines, Lincoln High School yearbooks, bicycles, a serenity pond, lamps,
jewelry, bird houses, a hutch, a Harold Teichmann clock, books, CD’s, VCR tapes,
and much miscellaneous.
