Heartland Community College-Lincoln offers summer programs for Youth and Adults

[June 01, 2017]  LINCOLN -  Heartland Community College has planned a selection of Youth Enrichment and Adult Continuing Education classes for this summer.

All classes and programs require preregistration with fees applied.

Learn more about yourself by unlocking family mysteries in Climbing Your Family Tree-Grades 5-9. This class is scheduled for June 13th through 15th from 9-11 a.m.

Artistically express yourself by turning your words into art. Intro to Calligraphy-Grades 6-12 will meet June 19th through 23rd from 9 a.m. – noon.

In Summer Math is Fun! you’ll explore exciting ways to keep your math skills fresh over break.

Grades 3-4 will meet June 20th through 22nd from 10-11:30 a.m.

Grades 5-6 will meet June 20th through 22nd from 1:30-3 p.m.

Grades 7-8 will meet June 27th through 29th from 1:30-3 p.m.

Discover what unique attractions Route 66 has to offer with a class and tour including sites in Lincoln, Pontiac, and Atlanta. Illinois Route 66 Class & Tour is scheduled for June 6th through 8th from 6-8 p.m. and June 10th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn helpful tips to support your child through math homework at Parents’ Guide to Algebra/Geometry Homework. This class is offered on August 1st through 3rd from 6-8 p.m.
