Late last week, President Abraham Lincoln paid a surprise visit to the Lincoln Heritage Museum at Lincoln College. The presidential visit was unexpected, but he was happily welcomed in to see the museum that is dedicated to the great man.

While there, Lincoln (aka Kevin J. Wood of Oak Park) enjoyed spending time with Lincoln College President Dr. David Gerlach. He even permitted Gerlach to take a "selfie" of himself with the president.

Lincoln enjoyed meeting students from Lincoln College and also spent time visiting with some of the visitors to the museum.

He talked History with Museum director Tom McLaughlin, and Assistant Director and Lincoln Historian Anne Moseley, then happily posed for a picture with the two.
