MOUNT
PULASKI - Though the Fourth of July Fireworks display at
Frazier Park in Mount Pulaski has been delayed to the evening of
Saturday, July 8th, there will still be plenty to do in town on
Independence day.
The public is invited to attend the inaugural Co-Ed Softball
Tournament starting at 9:30 a.m. The event will be hosted by the
Mount Pulaski Community Pride organization and sponsored by Ron's
Towing. The Community Pride is hopeful that this will become an
annual Fourth of July event.
Also in town on Tuesday, there will be a Pork Chops Sandwich
fundraiser hosted by the Mount Pulaski Boy Scout Troop 122.
The Mount Pulaski Community Band will perform at 2
p.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center. The public is invited to
attend.
