LINCOLN
- Two of the world’s finest jazz guitarists – FRANK VIGNOLA and
VINNY RANIOLO – will take the stage at the Hargrove Chapel
Auditorium at Lincoln Christian University at 7 p.m. on Friday,
March 3. Their arrival here in Lincoln is sponsored by the Lincoln
Land Concert Association as part of their current series of
concerts.

Lead guitarist, Frank Vignola met Vinny Raniolo (a marvelous
rhythm guitarist) at a NYC jam session in 2006, and they formed
their duo in 2010. Since that time they have played over 1,000 shows
together!
Individually they have played with Ringo Starr, Madonna, Wynton
Marsalis, Queen Latifah, the Boston Pops and the New York Pops. They
are featured on National Public Radio regularly and on the PBS
Special – “Four Generations of Guitar.”
Their program will feature a wide variety of compositions including
works from Bach and Mozart to Ellington and Waller. They will even
blend in Gershwin and Carmichael and and even Sting,
Lennon-McCartney and possibly some originals.
Frank and Vinny want to have people leave their shows feeling better
than when they arrived. They try to make people laugh with their
comedy routines and blend it with their fabulous musical abilities
to create an exciting show.
