"it took us a few innings to get going, but with our girls it was a matter of time before we started seeing the ball and driving it like we can. We were aggressive on the bases (Kenzie Cooper and Erin Rankin each stole a base) and consistant in the box. DeVaney had a really strong first game, I am pleased with our overall efforts today"

"Our hitting just kept getting stronger as the day went on. I have been watching the girls hit in the gym for the past 8 weeks of preseason and knew that we had power, but to come out and start our season the way that they did today is a good indication of what we are capable of. Today was a very very GOOD day for the Lady Lynx on the softball field".
