[March 15, 2017]  March 14 (The Sports Xchange) - Pro Bowl running back Eddie Lacy is set to join the Seattle Seahawks on a one-year deal. Lacy, 26, would make $5.5 million. Of that amount, $3 million will be fully guaranteed.

Head coach Pete Carroll said the Seahawks were still scheduled to meet with free agent Jamaal Charles. Carroll, in a radio interview with 710 ESPN, also shed some light on Lacy's heft.

"He's a big man. I want him big," Carroll said. "I want him big and tough and strong, but I want him in the best shape so that he can run at his best and be durable and handle the load. ... So we have a real target for him. We'll be on it on a regular basis and we'll keep him in great shape."

Davon House is returning to Green Bay after a two-year hiatus.

The 27-year-old cornerback agreed to re-join the Packers on a one-year deal worth approximately $3.5 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor restructured his contract and will take what amounts to a $10 million pay cut to stay in Buffalo, ESPN reported.

Taylor signed the restricted deal last week, according to documents obtained by ESPN.

Kirk Cousins refuted a report stating that he asked for a trade when speaking with Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder, saying that he was only trying to find out what the franchise's plans were for him.

The Redskins placed the franchise tag on the 28-year-old quarterback for the second consecutive season, and Cousins signed the $24 million tag last Friday. But reports indicated Cousins had asked Snyder to be dealt.

Malcolm Butler is scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, according to a report.

The Patriots' restricted free agent cornerback was linked to the Saints in trade rumors surrounding wide receiver Brandin Cooks.

The Kansas City Chiefs and defensive tackle Bennie Logan agreed to a one-year contract.

Logan agreed to a deal worth $8 million with $7.68 million guaranteed, according to the NFL Network.

Los Angeles Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein signed a three-year contract to remain with the club.

The deal is worth $6.75 million, according to multiple reports.

The New England Patriots signed running back Rex Burkhead, the team announced.

Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

Burkhead opened eyes by rushing for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in Cincinnati's season-ending 27-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

The Minnesota Vikings signed free agent defensive end Datone Jones, the team announced.

Details of the contract were not announced, but NFL Network reported Jones signed a one-year deal worth $3.75 million. Jones can play either defensive end or outside linebacker.

The Arizona Cardinals signed linebacker Jarvis Jones to a one-year contract, the team announced.

Last season in Pittsburgh, Jones collected 42 tackles and had one sack and one interception in 14 games, including nine starts.

The Chicago Bears announced that kicker Connor Barth will return next season with a one-year contract.

The deal will pay Barth $980,000 and $155,000 in guaranteed money, the Chicago Tribune reported..

Barth was signed by the Bears on Sept. 5, 2016, one day after Robbie Gould, who had been the Bears kicker since 2005, was told he would be released.
