[March 15, 2017]  ATLANTA - Sandra K. Mitchey, 71, of Mt. Vernon formerly of Atlanta passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home.

Visitation: Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta

Mass of Christian Burial:  Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Atlanta

Obituary

Sandra K. Mitchey, 71, of Mt. Vernon formerly of Atlanta passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Atlanta.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral mass.
A Rosary Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the visitation.
Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.

Sandra K. Bokus was born on December 17, 1945 in Ottawa the daughter of George J. and Anna Kay Oprenchak Bokus. She was united in marriage to James John Mitchey on October 17, 1964. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2015.

She is survived by her children: Kevin James (Vanessa) Mitchey and Suzanne Marie (Michael) Glowicki. One sister: Patricia Ann Mack. Six grandchildren: Erik John Mitchey, Matthew James MItchey, Joshua Ryan Mitchey, Dillon Michael Glowicki, Emily Elizabeth Glowicki, Ally Jane Mitchey. Two great grandchildren: Hadleih Rose Mitchey and Levi James Mitchey. Linda Mitchey the mother of three of her grandchildren.

Sandra graduated from Marquette High School in Ottawa.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Atlanta.
She was employed by E- Health Data Solutions.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
