Local Zonta honors three local women on Yellow Rose Day

Each year on March 8th in recognition of International Women’s Day, the Zonta Club of Lincoln celebrates “Yellow Rose Day” by honoring three women from the community.

The roses were presented to the recipients by Connie Dehner, Jen Grimaldi, and Christal Huff.

Pattie Becker (left) will be retiring April 1st with 30 years of service at Eaton Corporation.

 

Susan Gehlbach (left), Lincoln City Clerk, was honored with a rose also delivered by Huff and Grimaldi. Susan will be retiring April 30th from after nearly 23 years of service to the city of Lincoln.
 


For 51 years, Linda Franz (center) has been the owner and lead stylist at Towne and Country Beauty Shop. Linda was honored with a rose delivered by Connie Dehner and Grimaldi. Franz is also a member of the local Zonta.
