[March 18, 2017]  MOUNT PULASKI - Carol S. Sutton, 60, passed away at 6:40 a.m. on March 7, 2017 at Vonderlieth Living Center of Mount Pulaski.

Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday March 11, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski

Obituary

Carol S. Sutton, 60, passed away at 6:40 a.m. on March 7, 2017 at Vonderlieth Living Center of Mount Pulaski.

Carol was born on February 8, 1957 in Lincoln, daughter of John and Geneva Belle (Sharp) Troyer. She married William Larry Sutton on October 5, 1986 in Lake Fork. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2003.

Surviving Carol are her children: Chris (Stacy Menard) White of Lincoln, Matt (Angela) White of New Holland, and Nick (Erica) Sutton of Springfield; her mother Geneva Troyer; three sisters: Geneva Snapp of St. Joseph, MO, Eleanor (Donald) Sharp of Mount Pulaski, Marcia (Paul) Strieker of Breese, two brothers: John (Nadine) Troyer of Park Falls, WI and Brian (Jane) Troyer of Wausau, WI; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father.

Carol was a member of Buffalo Christian Church. She enjoyed watching Cardinal Baseball and Illini Basketball.

Services for Carol will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 11, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Grant Ray officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to service (9:00-11:00 a.m.). A private burial at Laenna Cemetery will follow the service.

Memorials may be made in Carol’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the family of Carol Sutton.
