FrogWatch USA to host training at Miller Park Zoo

[March 21, 2017]  BLOOMINGTON - FrogWatch USA is a Citizen Science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) that offers individuals an opportunity to learn about the wetlands in their community, to identify local frog and toad calls and to report data.

If you have an interest in learning about frogs and toads, have the commitment to learn and identify individual frog calls, and the ability to regularly visit a local wetland for data collection from now until August you can be Citizen Scientist for Frogwatch.

A training course will be hosted at Miller Park Zoo on Thursday, March 30th at 5:30 p.m. in the MPZ main classroom. Reservations are required. Reserve your space by emailing Silvia Shuh at sschuh.mzoo@gmail.com or call (309) 434-2826.
