Natural gas line ruptures in Providence, Rhode Island: local media

[March 30, 2017]    (Reuters) - A high-pressure natural gas line ruptured near the Manchester Street Power Station in Providence, Rhode Island on Wednesday, according to a local media report.

It was not clear whether the leak from the underground pipe had been contained, and the cause of the rupture was not immediately available, the report said.

There were no injuries, the Providence Journal reported citing the Public Safety Commissioner.
