[May 01, 2017]  From Wednesday onward last week, the only area team that managed to squeeze in a game was the Lincoln Railsplitters Baseball Team.

The Railsplitters traveled to Normal Friday night to play on the turf field at the Corn Crib in the Michael Collins Memorial Invitational. Normal Community High School handed Lincoln a 12-1 loss in five innings.

This week the Railsplitters will attempt to get these games in, weather permitting:

Monday home vs. Jacksonville 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday home vs. MacArthur 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday at MacArthur 4:30 p.m.
Thursday at Lanphier 4:30 p.m.

The Lincoln Girls Softball Team defeated Jacksonville 12-2 last week, but the rest of the week was a washout for the ladies.

Lincoln will attempt to makeup a rainout date with Jacksonville today at home at 4:30 p.m.

Doubleheaders are also on the schedule this week for the ladies.

Wednesday at MacArthur 4:30 p.m.
Friday at Lanphier 4:30 p.m.

Following two wins to start off last week, the Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers saw all of their games cancelled due to the heavy rains.

This week the Hilltoppers schedule is as follows:

Tuesday at Delavan 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Athens/Greenview 4:30 p.m.
