Two of the brightest stars in Major League Soccer were on full display at BMO Field in Toronto on Wednesday night as Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco and Orlando City SC's Kaka each scored in an entertaining game.

It was Giovinco who scored twice while Kaka, the 2007 World Player of the Year, scored once as Toronto won its third straight with a 2-1 victory over Orlando.

The loss snaps Orlando's four-game winning streak and is its second loss in three road games this season.

It only took Giovinco less than nine minutes to put Toronto in front thanks largely to the work of local youngster Raheem Edwards.

Edwards won space on the left side by getting around Scott Sutter before getting a low cross. Jozy Altidore managed to poke the ball back to Giovinco and he snuck a low shot in to the right of Orlando goalkeeper Joe Bendik.

Giovinco added his fifth goal of the season in the 38th minute that started on the right side with a cross from defender Steven Beitashour.

Bendik was first to the cross but was unable to corral the loose ball. Midfielder Victor Vazquez managed to touch the ball to Giovinco, who converted with a curling, left-footed shot from the corner of the six-yard box.

Toronto was well in control but Orlando put the game back into question right on the stroke of halftime.

The play started with Kaka, who took a corner kick on the left side. After a cross came in, Canadian forward Cyle Larin headed the ball back across the face of goal and Kaka joined the play and scored from close range.

Orlando was buoyed from that goal and came out better in the second half.

Larin had a few chances but none better than in the 59th minute. Carlos Rivas crossed from the right side and Larin lunged for the ball just outside the six-yard area.

Toronto goalkeeper Alex Bono cut down the angle and partially stopped Larin's attempt but the ball still got behind him. Larin was first to the ball just a few feet from goal but couldn't shuffle his feet to nudge the ball over the line and, quite spectacularly, Bono dove back to punch the ball away at the last second.
