Annual MS Walk to be held this Sunday

[May 06, 2017]   LINCOLN - The annual MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Walk in Logan County will be held this Sunday, May 7th, at Kickapoo Creek Park, starting at 1:30 p.m.

In the case of rain or high water at the park, the event will be moved to Lincoln College.

Registration will begin at noon, and team photos will be taken at approximately 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The walk around the park will start from the north pavilion at 1:30 p.m.

In addition to the walk, there will be a raffle and silent auction along with music and facepainting.

The silent auction bidding will close after the completion of the walk at approximately 2:15 p.m. and winners will be announced. The raffle drawing will also take place at that time.

The annual walk is a fundraiser for MS. While there is no registration fee charged and anyone can walk who wishes, donations are greatly appreciated.

Those who make a donation of $100 will receive an MS Walk tee-shirt.
