Alyssa Stauffer named Mount Pulaski High School April Student-of-the-Month

[May 09, 2017]  MOUNT PULASKI - Alyssa Stauffer, daughter of Dave and Cynthia Stauffer of Mount Pulaski, has been named April - Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Alyssa stays actively involved at MPHS. She has been a member of FCCLA, Drama Club, Yearbook Committee, Prom Committee, Band, Chorus, Science Olympiad, and Spanish Club. Alyssa is also a consistent member of the Honor Roll. She also received the FCCLA Community Service Award.

Alyssa Plans on attending Johnson University in Knoxville, TN to major in Education.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson True Value Hardware. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
