Indians 6, Blue Jays 0

Carlos Carrasco allowed three hits in seven innings, Yan Gomes hit a three-run homer, and the Cleveland Indians defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 6-0 on Tuesday night.

Carrasco struck out seven and did not give up a walk for the Indians, who evened the three-game series at one game apiece. The teams met in last season's AL Championship Series.

Mike Bolsinger allowed three hits, four walks and two runs over 5 2/3 innings in his first start for the Blue Jays after having his contract selected from Triple-A Buffalo.

Dodgers 4, Pirates 3 (10 innings)

Pinch hitter Austin Barnes hit a walk-off double in the 10th inning to lift Los Angeles to a victory over Pittsburgh.

Barnes doubled off reliever Daniel Hudson (0-2) to plate pinch runner Ross Stripling as the Dodgers posted their fourth straight victory. Kenley Jansen (2-0) earned the victory after striking out two in the 10th. Los Angeles rookie Cody Bellinger's RBI single with one out in the ninth inning brought home Corey Seager to tie the score.

The Pirates dropped their third consecutive game.

Mets 6, Giants 1

Zack Wheeler threw six strong innings, and New York scored four runs in the first inning to beat San Francisco.

Neil Walker hit a two-run triple and Michael Conforto homered for the Mets, who have won eight of their last 11 games.

Buster Posey homered as the Giants dropped their fifth straight.

Reds 5, Yankees 3

Joey Votto's two-run single highlighted a five-run second inning and Cincinnati held off New York.

Billy Hamilton also had a two-run single and Adam Duvall added an RBI single as the Reds won for the sixth time in seven games.

Didi Gregorius and Gary Sanchez homered for the Yankees, who saw their six-game winning streak snapped.

Rockies 10, Cubs 4 (Game 1)

Mark Reynolds homered and drove in three runs as Colorado roughed up Chicago's Jake Arrieta in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.

Ryan Hangian highlighted a six-run third with a three-run single and the Rockies scored four unearned runs following a throwing error by Cubs shortstop Javier Baez.

Arrieta allowed nine runs and nine runs (five earned) and 3 2/3 innings. It was his shortest outing since becoming a Cub.

Cubs 8, Rockies 1 (Game 2)

John Lackey allowed four hits in seven shutout innings and Chicago salvaged a split of its day-night doubleheader with Colorado.

Javier Baez and Kris Bryant homered as Chicago stopped a four-game losing streak.

Colorado starter Kyle Freeland allowed five runs (three earned) in six innings.

Cardinals 6, Marlins 5

Pinch hitter Dexter Fowler had the go-ahead single in the ninth inning as St. Louis rallied in the late innings to beat Miami.

Fowler's hit gave the Cardinals an eighth straight road game and their 15th win in the last 20 games. Matt Adams and Jedd Gyorko added RBI singles for St. Louis.

Derek Dietrich had a two-run double and Justin Bour hit an RBI single in a four-run sixth for the Marlins. Miami manager Don Mattingly and center fielder Christian Yelich were ejected in the first inning for arguing a called third strike with plate umpire Andy Fletcher.

Rangers 11, Padres 0

A.J. Griffin pitched a four-hitter as Texas routed San Diego.

Griffin needed only 104 pitches to throw his second career shutout.

Ryan Rua and Joey Gallo homered off Jered Weaver, who allowed seven runs and six hits in three innings.

Orioles 5, Nationals 4 (12 innings)

Mark Trumbo hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 12th inning, and Baltimore rallied to beat Washington.

J.J. Hardy hit a game-tying single in the ninth for the Orioles, who won their sixth straight.

Adam Lind hit a pinch-hit three-run home run for Washington, which wasted an 11-strikeout performance from Max Scherzer.

Royals 7, Rays 6 (12 innings)

Mike Moustakas hit a home run with one out in the top of the 12th inning as Kansas City rallied to defeat Tampa Bay.

Salvador Perez and Eric Hosmer had three hits apiece for Kansas City.

Logan Morrison and Brad Miller homered for the Rays.

Mariners 10, Phillies 9

Taylor Motter hit the tiebreaking RBI double in the top of the ninth as Seattle edged Philadelphia.

Robinson Cano and Ben Gamel homered for the Mariners.

Michael Saunders, Tommy Joseph and Aaron Altherr homered for the Phillies.

Brewers 11, Red Sox 7

Keon Broxton drove in four runs and finished a double short of the cycle as Milwaukee outslugged Boston.

Eric Thames hit his 13th home run, moving into a tie with Aaron Judge and Ryan Zimmerman for the major league lead.

Mookie Betts homered and drove in four runs for Boston.

Astros 8, Braves 3

Charlie Morton carried a shutout into the sixth inning, and Houston hit three home runs in a win over Atlanta.

Carlos Correa, Carlos Beltran and Josh Reddick all homered off Bartolo Colon.

Colon (1-4), allowed eight runs on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Twins 7, White Sox 2

Byron Buxton matched a career high with three hits and Minnesota pulled away from Chicago.

Kennys Vargas hit a two-run home run and Ehire Adrianza added a two-run single for Minnesota.

Jose Abreu and Tyler Saladino hit RBI singles for the White Sox.

Angels 7, Athletics 3

Yunel Escobar capped a four-run second inning with a three-run home run, propelling Los Angeles to a victory over Oakland.

Albert Pujols and Ben Revere added solo shots for the Angels, who had lost five of their previous six games.

Right-hander Alex Meyer (1-1) overcame a pair of home runs by Oakland's Yonder Alonso to record his second career win.

Tigers 7, Diamondbacks 3

James McCann and Justin Upton homered, and Justin Verlander won his second consecutive start in Detroit's victory over Arizona at Chase Field.

Mikie Mahtook hit a two-run single to cap a three-run fifth inning that gave the Tigers a 5-3 lead.

Verlander (3-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks and struck out seven in seven innings.
