Do you want to learn more about The Salvation Army’s work in
Emergency Disaster Services?
You can contribute as little or as much as you like.
Then please join us for our free training in May.
You can come learn about The Salvation Army’s work in Emergency
Disaster Services. You can also register to become a volunteer
through The Salvation Army.
The classes offered are:
Introduction to Emergency Disaster Services
The course provides participants with an overview of The Salvation
Army's mission and its role within disaster work. Participants will
also be taught how to prepare and equip themselves for a disaster
deployment.

Safe From Harm For Emergency Disaster Services
This course is a comprehensive safety and abuse prevention program.
Looking at how we may be working out at a disaster site to prevent
accidents and opportunities for abuse; proper procedures when
volunteering, planning activities to minimize risks, and procedures
to follow if you suspect abuse.
Training will be held
Saturday, May 20th from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army
Keest Center, 307 N. Kickapoo Street in Lincoln.
