LCHS announces Students-of-the-Month for April and May

[May 19, 2017]   LINCOLN - In partnership with Lincoln Community High School, Town and Country Bank, located at 303 Pulaski Street in Lincoln, announced Sydney Johnson as the LCHS April Student of the Month Honoree.  Dawn Irwin has also been selected as the May Student of the Month.



Sydney Johnson, a Senior at Lincoln Community High School, is the daughter of Kim and Lisa Johnson of New Holland. Sydney's school activities have included Student Government, LEAF Club, Volleyball, Softball, Basketball Cheerleading, Railer Buddies, Earth Club, and National Honor Society among others. Sydney is active in the community volunteering for American Legion, Woofstock, Lincoln Youth Football concessions, Lincoln Park District, UCP Telethon, Christian Child Care, Carroll Christmas Bazaar, LCHS Concessions, and Carroll Tea, among others.

Dawn Irwin, a Senior at Lincoln Community High School, is the daughter of Steve and Ann Marie Irwin of Beason. Dawn's school activities have included FFA and National Honor Society. Dawn is active in the community volunteering for American Legion, FFA, 4H, Illinois Horse Fair, Ronald McDonald House, Taste of Logan County, Tutoring at LJHS, Illinois State Fair , and First Baptist Church, among others.

Town and Country Bank is the proud sponsor of the Lincoln Community High School Senior of the Month nd Senior of the Year Award and Scholarship Program. Each month's honoree receives a $50 MasterCard Gift Card and is then eligible for a $1,500 scholarship, all awarded by the bank to be used at the college of their choice.
